Local Illinois Housing Market Avoids Real Estate Pricing Surge
Every time you turn on the local news these days it seems like there is yet another story about the national real estate boom and how prospective buyers are paying thousands of dollars over the listing price and snagging up properties left and right, leaving nothing but bits and pieces for the rest of us. Thankfully that doesn’t appear to be a problem here in the Quad Cities, especially on the Illinois side, but just in case that trend curves in the opposite direction, it would probably be a good idea to go ahead and contact The Bassford Team and strike while the housing market is hot.
According to a recent report from the National Association of Realtors, nearly every major metropolitan area in the country, except for Illinois, has seen a serious spike in the average amount of money spent on a one-family house, with one city in Massachusetts recording a whopping 48% increase. At The Bassford Team, we are incredibly grateful and glad that those statistics have not trickled down to the Quad Cities, as our group of elite real estate professionals has been working around the clock to do their best to maintain the fair market price for our Illinois properties and the rest of our listings throughout the QC area.
Since 2014, Rich Bassford and his professional and knowledgeable associates at The Bassford Team have made quick work of the local real estate market by skyrocketing to success as the #1 team of realtors in the Quad Cities. We provide full real estate services to Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, and Moline, as well as home buying and selling assistance to our smaller surrounding communities, including Andalusia, East Moline, Geneseo, Hampton, Milan, Orion, Port Byron, Rapids City, Silvis, and Taylor Ridge.
